Lugansk Tube Plant was founded in 1913, its specialization was the output of small diameter welded tubes. Annual output of tubes in 1915 was 7700 tones. The output of tubes for water and gas supply systems widened in post-war years.
There was a reconstruction of plant in 1969-1975, new technology of tubes manufacturing was inculated, and the technology of manufacture of galvanized tubes was brought to a new process.
In 1991 the Tube Plant Yakubovsky by name was leased by the collective of the plant with foreclose.
In December 1993 the plant was reformed in the closed joint-stock company "Lugansk Tube Plant" by ransom of holistic property complex.
In 1997 Italian equipment was put into operation, so the manufacture of cold-finished tubes for amortisseurs and cardan shafts to motor vehicles became possible.
Since 2000 staged reclamation of manufacturing of section tubes was begun.
